Just a small set of photos taken in 2010 when the May Fayre took place in the grounds of St Mary’s Church in Portsmouth. Fifteen minutes on foot from our house, so it’s something we quite often attend even though setting foot on holy ground comes with risks for us.
The May Fayre tends to be held annually at this location in our home city, although pandemics have been known to put paid to those, and Victory Morris – probably Portsmouth’s most well-known Morris side, but certainly not our only one – seem to be regular attractions there.
