The hotel in which we were staying during our holiday was in Cap de Salou, Spain, a few kilometres from the town of Salou itself. Although there was a regular bus service between the two places my wife and I are fond of walking so took it upon ourselves to do the walk as it was fairly easy to follow the Spanish coastline between the two locations. The walk would incorporate some main road promenade areas beside numerous beaches and a very attractive section along some rocky outcrops. The views that we would see along the seafront were absolutely gorgeous as every day of the week we spent in Spain was under stunningly blue skies and blistering heat.
A few spots along the Salou beachfront contained some interesting structures; a brick and concrete dome and a metal sculpture were two notable ones.
Living near the sea but with a beach that is simply pebbles it’s always nice to see clean, golden white sands and the beach at Salou didn’t disappoint. Under the blue sky wide angle photographs of the beach always look so inviting.
