A very quick and simple reworking of an old photo from 2013 when we visited Norway in order to pull in some more detail and boost the vibrancy of the colours a little. Well, that’s partly the reason for the rework. The other part of the reason is that with world travel being curtailed right now content is at a premium so I needed something to just keep the site ticking over so I don’t run out of the really fresh updates from the last cruise we did; since I’ve been taking part in a daily picture-posting exercise called #AlphabetAdventures on Twitter and since I reached O for Olden and since I quite liked the original picture of the Norwegian scenery I thought I’d tweak it a little.

Not a lot done here. Dark and light layers to pull out more detail in the land and clouds then a boost of colour saturation and vibrancy. This was overlaid twice on the original image in soft light and lighten modes to still allow some of the original smoothness through and ensure that not too much detail was lost in shadow in the foreground areas of land.
