For a few years my sister-in-law was living and working in America which meant that for a few years we had a good reason to head across the pond and visit her. She lived in Virginia but her boyfriend at the time lived in Gaithersberg, Maryland and it was with him that we stayed in 2012. Also known as “The Year I Forgot To Bring My Camera“.
The following photos are shot from my phone and are from around his house in Maryland, showing off the lovely autumnal browns of the fallen leaves and even a close encounter with some wildlife in that attractive area of the world.
