This was our first cruise, starting with three days in Beijing with a look at all the usual wondrous sights (and sites) there you’d expect: the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square. After that we joined Diamond Princess and visited Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Thailand. An absolutely incredible itinerary on a ship we loved and were treated like royalty on by Princess Cruises despite being utter noobs at cruising and the lowest of the low on the loyalty and wealth ladder.
