When the opportunity arose to get back on our most favourite cruise ship at the port we’d disembarked her three years previously and to check off a load of new countries while also cruising over the equator for the first time, well, we had to take it. The Star Princess cruise from Chile to Los Angeles was packed with incredible memories of fantastic experiences – turtles, rays, sea snakes, a volcano trek, a visit to an observatory in the Andes, Inca ruins, incredible tequila – but I’ll still remember it most as being the cruise after which I lost hours of videos and thousands of photos. Still took loads, of course, but man, what I lost!
