My home city of Portsmouth has quite a thriving street art scene, particularly around the Southsea area, but there are some other hotspots of artwork too and if you ever venture on foot from the north to the home of atmospheric football, Fratton Park, then there’s a good chance you’ll happen upon some of it. Back in 2013 I took some photos of the various bits of art in the football ground’s vicinity; they’re a mixed bag – as much street art is – with some quite average pieces and some wonderful ones, particularly the work by local legend Fark.
