In 2010 we decided we’d like to spend a few days somewhere in Yorkshire in order to watch a game of rugby league, a sport we’d come to love from watching it on TV. We didn’t have a team to ardently support at the time, although we had some options, and one of them – Bradford – were playing at Wakefield on dates that suited us. We ended up staying near Wakefield in a place called Newmillerdam but, more importantly, we enjoyed the experience in the city and at the ground so much that we decided to support Wakefield Trinity from that point on.
Posts in this category cover our time in Wakefeld watching the game and taking a look at Yorkshire Sculpture Park but also visiting a few National Trust properties on the drive up north.
