Much like our first visit to the country three years before this, our short break to Iceland in 2018 included flights, transfers, a hotel stay – this time in the capital – and a trip. The included trip was a nighttime boat ride to spot the northern lights which was both successful and the coldest temperature we’ve ever experienced. In addition, we booked our own organised tour to the south coast of Iceland where waterfalls, a black sand beach, and a glacier were the highlights.
