This was a cruise that meant we got to visit the Falkland Islands and cruise around Cape Horn, to ride a steam train in Uruguay and ride a chairlift up a volcano in Chile, to see penguins in the wild and to watch whales migrating, to see the most stunning sunset we've ever seen and to gaze at stars from the southern hemisphere for the first time. We realised from this cruise that South America was every bit as enchanting as Asia had been on our first time holidaying on a ship.
