This was our second cruise, taking place five years after our first which had been for our honeymoon. The reason for the gap of five years was simple economics and the reason for cruising again was receiving a good offer via email at a point when we were more financially secure: we could pay for an inside cabin and get an outside view, an improvement on our first cruise experience.

Our Crown Princess cruise to the Norwegian fjords was far better than we’d expected, in no small part due to us being upgraded a second time to a balcony cabin. This cemented our love of cruising, our loyalty to Princess Cruises, and ensured that not only would we cruise again but we’d cruise more often and, where possible, it would be balconies all the way from this point onwards.
